This document contains important information for your planned attendance at a meeting or activity of the Civil War Round Table of the District of Columbia (CWRTDC).  The CWRTDC has adopted certain health and safety guidelines, including a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy, to ensure its meetings/activities will be as safe as possible.  Please note, CWRTDC’s guidelines might differ from those at Fort Myer or other relevant venue.

Please review the information below to prepare for your attendance.  Also please read the attached CWRTDC’s Meeting/Activity Attendance Policy.  The CWRTDC appreciates your adherence to its guidelines.  If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know at admin@cwrtdc.org.

Preparing for Attendance to a Meeting or Activity of the CWRTDC

1.    Attendance is not permitted at a CWRTDC meeting or activity:

§  If you are not “up to date” with your COVID-19 vaccinations. Information about the definition of “up to date” is available by clicking HERE;
§  If you are experiencing any symptoms consistent with a COVID-19 infection;
§  If you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the previous 10 days; or
§  If you have been exposed to someone with a confirmed positive case of    COVID-19 within the previous 10 days.

2.    COVID-19 Health Screening Questionnaire.  You will be asked to answer a short COVID-19 health screening questionnaire, copied below, on the day of the scheduled meeting or activity.  The questionnaire can be completed prior to attending the meeting or activity, but it must be dated as of the meeting or activity date and provided to the CWRTDC when you arrive to the meeting or activity.

3.    Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.  The CWRTDC may request proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Accordingly, please ensure that you have proof of your COVID-19 vaccination. This proof may be your actual Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 vaccination card, a legible photocopy of your vaccination card, or a legible image of your vaccination card displayed on your phone.  The CWRTDC may also ask you to show a government-issued identification card.  Persons who are unable to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination may not attend the meeting or activity.

4.    Masks/Face Coverings.  The CWRTDC has adopted a mask-optional policy and requests that you refrain from asking anyone in attendance to remove their asks. The CWRTDC will support all persons who elect to wear a mask or face covering.
